The Department of Information and Communication Technology wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link and a single main landmark.
- Headings follow a logical order, and links and buttons describe where they go.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG colour-contrast requirements, and keyboard focus is always visible.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, including the mobile menu and the FAQ.
- Pages reflow without sideways scrolling down to a 320 pixel width, and motion respects reduced-motion settings.
- Images carry text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- We test with automated checks and keyboard testing before pages are published.
Known limitations
Documents such as PDF brochures and syllabi may not yet be fully accessible. If you need a document in another format, please ask us.
